#1 = Alec Username : Thelordofyouall Name : Alexander III of Nacio (Alec) Race : Human Gender : Male Age : 26 (As of end of bio) Height : 5’7” Weight : 128 1bs Appearance : When he escapes from the mage’s academy, Alec is in traditional mage’s garb. He wears long black robes and a hood. These robes also bear the academy’s emblem, a fish leaping out of the water. Alec himself is not very intimidating. At 22 (the age at which he escapes), he is somewhat short, wears light spectacles, and his hair is a light brown in a fairly normal looking short haircut. Even after the fusion he keeps up this appearance, and the only thing threatening about him is his demeanor, and the power of his music in battle. As a traveling minstrel after escaping the academy, Alec wears relatively plain clothes. A brown tunic and leggings are all he really needs. Once he begins working as a maestro things change. He now mostly wears the standard clothing of a conductor in Balosk, a short black coat and long black leggings. After fusion with the Gem of Symphonic Glory, he dresses the same as he did as a maestro for the most part. Now however, when he uses magical concert his eyes begin to glow in a rainbow of colors, and the wind created by the music lifts him up above the ground. I even took the time to make a decent drawing in paint. img60.exs.cx/img60/7819/CACT3picA.jpg The red and yellow lines are the aura of his awesome power. Famous Quote : “It’s in the key of C minor, with cut time and at a tempo of 130 beats per minute. The first 5 bars are enough to make most mortals turn to ash.”
Weapon : In battle or on stage, Alec wields his trusty conductor’s baton. At first he’d use an old wooden one he bought, but after becoming famous in Balosk, he got a gift from an adoring fan. It was a long, slender baton of obsidian that was made incredibly hard by some sort of magical method. To this day Alec still wields that very baton. Attacks : The following attacks are various spells he learned at the mage academy, before fusing. Blaze- Basic fire spell. Creates a small globe of flame and hurls it at the enemy. Flood- Basic water spell. Creates a small globe of water and hurls it at the enemy. Gale- Basic wind spell. Creates a small gust of wind and blows it at the enemy. Stone- Basic earth spell. Creates a small rock and throws it at the enemy. Sonar- Detects enemies who are invisible or hidden by emitting sound waves. Shockwave- Launches a devastating wave of sound that hits multiple foes. Wavelength- Makes an attempt to shatter an inanimate object by matching its sound wavelength (like when glass shatters from someone screaming). Cacophony- Loud disruptive noises are emitted to confuse foes. Lullaby- Lulls foes into a deep sleep with sweet sounds. Focused Noise- A short wave of sound that deals fast and heavy damage to one enemy. After fusing with the Gem of Symphonic Glory, Alec does not simply use spells, but instead conducts a song, and it is projected for all who oppose him to hear. At this point he damages them with various musical elements. Concert- Damages all foes once per turn, works automatically when Alec is conducting music, so he can still use other abilities. Crescendo- Increases song’s volume. Doubles damage done by next hit from concert Decrescendo- Decreases song’s volume. Halves damage from next hit from concert, but lowers all foe’s defense and will (like magic defense) by 1/10 for the duration of the battle (or until reversed by magic or items). Staccato- Makes notes short and separated. Randomly damages foes 8 times. Tenuto- Makes notes long and connected. Damages the strongest foe until he dies, followed by the next, and so on, for a maximum of 8 hits. Brass- The Brass section gets the melody. All damage from Alec becomes physical until Woodwinds or Choir is used. Woodwinds- The Woodwind section gets the melody. All damage from Alec becomes magic based until Brass or Choir is used. Choir- The Choir section gets the melody. All damage from Alec becomes based on a random element (fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, ice, light, dark, holy, or evil) and magic based until Brass or Choir is used. The element is random each time (so if it comes up fire on one use, it will change the next time damage is dealt). Key Change- Changes the key the song is played in. Inflicts 1 random status on each enemy (poison, burn, sick, blind, deaf, confused or mute). Sharp- Plays an excessively sharp note. KOs one enemy. Flat- Plays an excessively flat note. Reduces all of one foe’s stats by 1/3 for 10 turns. Cannot be reversed by magic/items. After completing the Symphony of Perfection, Alec has one more ability. It is automatically used at the end of the song, which is 45 minutes long.

Finale- Ends the song with the fervor and power to rock the gods. Petrifies all characters regardless of immunities or defenses, and shatters them to dust on the wind. gg. Game : The Element of Perfection. It’s a Final Fantasy-like RPG that I sort of imaginate about. It’ll have a plotline and such, but one of the most important parts is the idea of doing something perfectly, and the amazing power of something without flaws. Alec eventually becomes the main villain in this story, and must be battled multiple times. Bio : WARNING! IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY LONG, IN DEPTH, PHILISOPHICAL, AND HIGH ACTION BIOGRAPHIES, PLEASE TURN BACK NOW. Prologue- The Musician’s Curse Zareth silently raised his horn towards the night sky, his shadow cast high against the rubble by the flames. He pressed his lips to the mouthpiece and began to play a melody filled with despair. The sound of the instrument echoed over the screams of the dying and confused, adding a melancholy feel to the already hopeless situation. As Zareth began the refrain, the figure responsible for the destruction slowly paced closer towards him. Alexander of Nacio silently raised a hand as he strode towards the forlorn musician. A small black sphere of energy materialized in his hand, and he stared menacingly at Zareth. Zareth glanced towards the presence of death quickly approaching, and turned down his horn. “You are a horrible man,” he uttered simply at Alexander. “Why must you continue to kill for your own gain?” Alexander responded blankly “In order to secure my power for myself and my children, though I doubt you have any of your own to worry about.” After the insult Zareth’s eyes grew almost red with anger. “I had them. You turned them to ashes.” “Did I?” Alexander replied mockingly. “I must not have noticed. I suppose I must deal with the rest of the family then. He pulled back his hand and prepared to toss the black orb. To this, Zareth raised his horn once more and began to play a tune many times more haunting then the last. Almost as if on the wind, Zareth’s voice could be heard. For my children your own. May one of your bloodline destroy you and all you own, and them himself. Here I make this curse. Alexander started at this, then with an enraged grunt, hurled the sphere. Zareth crumpled, and his final song faded away. Alexander of Nacio, slayer of a million men, turned his back on the ruins and strode silently away.
From here fourth, I myself, Alec of Nacio, shall handle my own biography. <<Text in double brackets like these was supposed to be me posting. I had a cool idea with using my Alt Account for Alec to make it seem like it was really him telling the story, but when I learned they had to be emailed it sorta was ruined >_<. Just remember that most of the story is in first person, with little breaks of me in between.>> The Story of Alec Music is such a strange thing, don’t you think? To some it is but noise, they have no care for it. They are incredible fools. To others, it is sound arranged into a pattern pleasurable to the ear. These people are scientists and scholars, and they know little more. To the average man, music is something to listen to on a festival day, or at a wedding. Sure, they understand the fun of music, but the peons never truly get anything, do they? None however, thinks of music the way I do. It is not just a sound, but an outpouring of the soul which may take the form of any emotion. When strong enough this force can induce giddiness, sorrow, rage, enlightenment, and used to its fullest, pain and even death. I was born Alexander III of Nacio, son of Alexander II of Nacio and Marigold Kreshk of Tobun, my nickname was Alec, and it is what I am referred to as still today. I was the next in a powerful line of mage lords, started by my grandfather many years ago. His self forged Duchy of Nacio was one of the most powerful in the land, most notably of course, for our mages. Alexander I had been a mighty sorcerer, so was Alexander II, and he planned for me to be one as well. I however, was not interested in such things. As a spoiled young noble boy, I developed a great interest in music. My father would occasionally take me to concerts so I could see the symphony play, and my heart was set on being one of them. I was only 6 at the time, so Alexander II dismissed this as mere childish fancy, and was easily willing to purchase the instruments I begged for. I chose three, one of each major type. A sea pipe, a miniature harp, and my personal favorite- a reco horn (similar to what you call a trumpet). As I grew older, my self taught skill with these instruments grew. My father bought scores of sheet music for me, and I quickly learned to read them with all three of the instruments I owned. By this time I was 12, and whenever another noble visited, they always enjoyed hearing me play while they ate or talked. It was during this year that my father began preparing me for the “Nacio Academy for the Magically Gifted”. The Academy was a school for young magic users to attend from the ages of 15 to 25. I but considered this part of life, and included small bits of magical training mixed in with my musical studies. Alexander II was amazed with my talent. He had not been able to conjur fire until he had spent two years in the academy, and I had taught myself with some of his old books at 13. Time passed, and I began to notice a change in my father. He had become so wrapped up in my skill with magic that he totally ignored my passion for music. Whenever he caught me practicing the pipes, or memorizing a harp piece, he’d tell me to stop wasting time with that and to go work on casting some random spell. When I turned 15, I was eligible for the Academy, and I was to begin my 10 year schooling away from home. As I began to pack, my father did something that would shape my life forever. When I started wrapping up the reco horn to protect it from the roughness of travel, Alexander II snatched it out of my hands. “It is a meaningless distraction to your studying. So are the other worthless instruments.” With that, he hurled the horn at the hard ground, and then picked up my other two prized possessions and followed suite. “now get back to your packing, and make sure only to bring important things.” My now loathed father turned away from me and left. I was torn. The things that had been most precious to me were dashed against the floor. The harp was hopelessly shattered, the pipes were split straight in two, and the horn was bent into an ugly shape that could certainly not be played. I felt a sudden anger in my soul. The three things which had shaped my life were in ruins before me. I would go to the academy, but I would have my revenge.

Somewhere in the afterlife, Zareth laughs as his plans begin to unfold…. I attended the Nacio Academy for the Magically Gifted for 7 years. My incredible talent quickly led to recognition as one of the most powerful and respected students in the school. Even if my father had tried to destroy my love of music forever, I would not be stopped. Every class I took that was above the basic level was relating to sonic magery. With my wit and charm, all the other students took a liking to me, except for the jealous. They usually found themselves in uncomfortable situations if I got word that something was being plotted against me. Alec, being the arrogant one he is, has changed the views others had of him. His wit and charm were his acid tongue and intimidating stare, which led most of his classmates into fearing him. The “jealous” ones were those who tried to stand up to him. Through all my classes, I still felt unfulfilled. In my third year I learned enough magic to forge a new reco horn, and once again music became my forte. However, even with the school under my power after seven years of training, I desired more. Perhaps it was a desire for revenge against my father, or maybe my natural ambition, but I could not stand for another three years in the wretched place. Escape was my only option. It happened one cold winter night. I packed all my belongings I could, my clothes, my books, and of course, my horn together, and prepared to escape. The walls were magically proofed, but against my skill, it was simple as tuning the vibration of a small metal rod on my bedframe to match that of the walls. Boom. Certainly this was not the most subtle method, but I was gone before anyone could try and stop me. From this point I began my long journey homeward. The Academy was located in a solitary forest, so it would take a while to arrive back in the main city area of Nacio. Three weeks to be precise. My magic served me well in hunting and cooking, making the time much easier. I practiced my horn in free time and while on the march, and eventually I arrived on the outskirts of the city. It was time. I was the most powerful being in the entire area, and I knew it. No sneaking for me. With a SMASH and a WHAM and a tremendous POW! The way into the castle opened. Already guards were swarming to fight me off, but a blasted them away as a cow swats flies with its tail. A gate blocking my path? CRASH! Not anymore. I put a smile on my face as I peacefully walked towards the inner keep. I’d have to look my best for dear ol’ dad. As the granite portcullis crumbled before me, a squad of elite guardsmen rushed forwards, pikes at the ready. With a wave of my hand, a horrendous screech erupted, and brought them to their knees. It soon became apparent that this was more than just the power I gained at the academy. I don’t know whether it was revenge, or something new inside from the thrill of real battle, but my power grew exponentially as I entered the duke’s sanctum. Alexander II of Nacio knew of my coming far in advance, and stood ready to cast a spell at a moment’s notice. “My son…” he said waveringly. “Father.” “Why are you doing this?” I smiled even the more coldly as my frail father stood before me. “When you destroyed my instruments so many years ago, it caused something to become apparent to me.” Father’s eyes grew wider with fear, as he dared to question “what is that?” “I’m better than you.”
With that, chaos erupted. Alexander II’s pitiful spheres of fire were deflected with simplicity, and as I knocked him across the tower with my sonic magics, it was quickly realized who would be the victor. “AHAHAHAHAHA!” My malice filled laugh was heard across the land that day, and ecstasy rushed through my body as all hell broke lose and the castle was torn to shreds by the power of sounds. The deafening blasts of noise were like a song to me, and as the stones rained down on my father, the power that coursed through my veins grew even greater. Who knew that sheer noise could be so enlightening? <<At this point, Alec just basically jumped off the deep end. Having defeated his father, and therefore fulfilled Zareth’s curse, he received such incredible pleasure that his powers were unrestrained and caused mass destruction. From here on his arrogance triples and his prime goal becomes the acquisition of even more power. >> Finally the surge of amazement passed, and I was only in a ruin of what was once one of the greatest duchies in the land. Here and there a stone returned from its skyward journey I had sent it on. What to do now…. My greatest desire had been realized, and so I turned to my one true passion. After I walked through the wreckage of the castle to my belongings, I grasped the reco horn and belted out a bright song of triumph. I turned and went on my way. The next year of my life was filled with wandering. Even though my power was incredible, I knew there were wizards out there stronger than I, though the number could not be more than five. For that time I worked as a minstrel, making my pay by playing at taverns, and trying to avoid being recognized the man who reduced Nacio Castle to rubble. It was during this time that I first met him. Teyak was what he called himself, a wandering Neon Mage. I encountered Teyak for the first time in the Balosk’s Red Serpent Inn while he was resting there with his comrades, rather odd ones at that. He was accompanied by a shifty looking dusk mage, a somewhat silly clothed wizard, and an over-muscular warrior. After tipping me for my music he asked if I had any special musical talents, as they were searching for another member of their party, and a bard would be nice to have. I respectfully declined, lying that I knew only how to play. What perfect timing it was, for at that moment, a nasty bar fight broke out. A couple of drunken sailors had made the mistake of hitting on one of the king’s soldier’s women. Despite the yells of the barkeep, the brawl continued to elevate, that is until one of them dared to toss a chair in my direction. I was caught by surprise and knocked down. It was my turn to join the battle. With a loud yell I launched a blast of sound towards them and hurled the men into the wall. Absolute silence filled the room. The flabbergasted patrons all turned to stare at me. I knew it was my time to exit. With a great smash I created my own door and fled. The disarray and astonishment was enough to keep the people distracted while I got out of sight.

Balosk is the largest duchy in the kingdom; known for its respect of the arts, literature, and its great wealth. Besides playing music I also scored it for myself, and one day in a more upper class inn, a tall man in black came to greet me. He said he was the manager of the Balosk Grand Symphony, and their conductor had recently retired. While all members of the band were excellent at playing music, their ability to write and conduct it was sub par. After hearing me play some of my own works, this man, later introduced as Graph, requested that I take a job as the maestro and conductor. This I eagerly accepted. My talent for writing and conducting music served me well over the next two years. The Balosk Grand Symphony had always been profitable, but under my command it was prosperous. I came to know the thin sliver of wood that was my baton as well as my reco horn. It was during this time that I got many gifts from fans. One of them was my now favorite tool. A sleek black baton that according to the giver, was made of obsidian from the Hygress Mountains, magically tempered and forged to a near unbreakable form. It was perfectly balanced, and it became my one and only tool of conducting. As time went by many rumors floated past my ears as well. Stories of dragons attacking neighboring kingdoms, creatures composed of the elements, and other strange tales. The one story that caught my interest was about an artifact called the “Gem of Symphonic Glory”. I was told that it is an artifact of unimaginable power that allows the wielder to have complete command of music and sound. Obviously such an item perked my desires, so one faithful night I set out to the cave it was rumored to exist in. For nearly a month I suffered hardships in the dark woods of Balosk, and along the way I encountered Teyak and company again. His presence was made painfully obvious since, begin a neon mage, he was constantly launching beams of light in every direction. It had been years since I last encountered the mage and his party, so at the time I did not know who they were. I evaded the lights to the best of my efforts, but had forgotten one important detail. A dusk mage specializes in sneaking through the night. One of Teyak’s comrades was one, and a skilled one at that. I never saw the cudgel coming to my head before I blacked out. Who knows how many hours passed before I came to, but it was obvious that I was considered an outlaw by Teyak and his men. I was bound around my arms and legs with a firm rope. They ignored my pleas to be released, saying that it was simply too dangerous. During this time we learned each other’s names, and purposes. Mine disturbed them slightly, they claimed treasure hunting was a dangerous business, and an artifact described as so powerful was usually more dangerous than useful. I ignored their warnings, and they left me to rest in the dark. I was scared. Eventually my fear turned to anger. Plunging into some of the more basic lessons at the academy so long ago, I remembered a spell for severing rope. Putting it to action, I freed myself and lunged into battle. <<Now in the course of the game, this is the character’s (Teyak & co) first battle with Alec he is named Alec- Wandering Maestro. Since he is confused and weak in the dark forest, it is a tough boss battle, but not nearly to the full scope of Alec’s power.>> After a long time of combat, it became noticeable that I was being beaten. I was too close to the cavern of the gem to die now, so I distracted my foes with a cloud of dirt and dust, and fled. It was embarrassing. My supplies were stolen; I was injured, and lost. For several hours I wandered about in the woods, hoping to discover some sort of shelter. After a time I began hearing a faint music. It was in a somewhat mournful tone, and seemed to describe my situation perfectly. Since I was entirely lost at this point, I chose to follow it in hopes of salvation. I forget exactly how long I stumbled blindly after the music, but it seemed as I got closer it grew stronger, almost in tune with my heart. Finally I came to a small opening in a hill, surrounded by trees, which seemed to be a cave. Even the idea of a place to sleep was important to me now, so I snuck in. As I did, the music grew louder. It became an intense and foreboding melody, as I made my way farther into the depths of the cavern, which was much deeper than I anticipated. The darkness of the night, combined with how deep into the cave I was, removed the presence of light altogether. Too weak to conjure any source of light, I continued solely on the direction of the music. The melody continued to grow more and more powerful, and in the blackness, I slipped. I had bumped into something hard and metal. I knelt down and felt the surface. It was shaped like a chest. Whatever I had found must have been placed here by someone, and listening, the chest was certainly the origin of the music. I feared that it would be locked, and that I would be stranded in the cave for who knows how long. It was not so however. Apparently whoever had left the chest here had decided it needed no locking device. The music climaxed with my heart as I opened the chest, only to fall suddenly short. It was pitch black, and if this was the Gem of Symphonic Glory, it didn’t emit any light. I felt around in the bottom of the great chest, the tone of the music now becoming low and subtle. As I felt my hand clasp a small sphere, a sudden accented brass note shot out, and I clutched the object hard. Perhaps too hard. With a resounding snap, I felt the small sphere break in two, and then…. A great deal of pain. My vision suddenly sprang to life, showing the interior of a dank cavern, then flashes of all sorts of things. Notes on paper, pipes, a flute, an organ, everything related to music I knew of burst to life before me. My mind surged with emotion and sound, and then silence. I could se again, but it was a black and white perception, and I heard clicks constantly as I did it. Something from my education as small child occurred to me then. Bats saw in the darkness by launching sound waves off of things and receiving them. Perhaps this was what I was doing. Then it was clear. I was one with the gem, and to confirm this came a fanfare of realization. I started at the sudden noise, and it took a second to realize I had done it. It seemed that slowly I was gaining control of the gem’s power. Not only that, but its feeling. I gained a sudden urge to conduct. How I could escape from this cave my playing music to myself I did not know, but this knew instinct had to be obeyed. My baton. I kept it hidden under my clothing so that should anything happen to me, such as being taken captive by a Neon Mage and his cohorts, I would not have it stolen from me. I drew it out of my sleeve, raised to the air, and waved it to begin the rhythm of the piece I had scored for the Balosk Grand Symphony most recently. Energy. At the beginning of the song, the music played out from inside me, and it was much more than the petty sounds of the band that I had heard in Balosk. Such grandeur and passion! It must be shown the world! As I conducted and the song played, the walls of the cavern around me began to crumble. The sheer elation of this composition was tearing the cave apart. Wave of mighty sound deflected any rocks that got near me, in a giant flash; once again I was in the ruins of a proud structure. This time I did not care. The power! I must compose more! I will play it for the masses, and it will be so great that they will perish from the first note! I WILL BE THE GREATEST MAESTRO EVER!

<<Alec was an overambitious lad as a youngster. At the academy he was an arrogant bully with family difficulties, after escaping and destroying his father he was a crazed minstrel with awesome talent. As a maestro in Balosk Alec was a respected composer and musician who was looked up to. This is it. I said he jumped off the deep end earlier, but here he just entered the Mid-Atlantic Trench. Now that the Gem is part of Alec, he wants nothing but to play and compose, not caring what the side effects of his music is. He becomes a total madman, and he’s so powerful there’s nothing anyone can do to stop him. Most succumb to a simple B flat major scale.>> So I composed and I played. I made piece after piece and shared my incredible creations with the world. The fools were not ready for my power, and I laughed as they crumbled to dust before me. It seemed that soon the whole world would be exposed to my deific music, and all would perish in the glory of my sounds. Every etude brimmed with strength, each arpeggio more proud than the last. It seemed none could stand before my power. Then he came again…. The blasted fool Teyak returned, and this time he had even more friends. They claimed that they could stop me, but I knew it not to be so. None could destroy my melodies of greatness. Yet again I engaged the neon mage in combat. <<This is the second bout that Teyak & co must face with Alec. This time he’s much stronger, and uses magical concert to great effect. This form of Alec (Alec- Glorious Musician) is a very difficult foe to beat.>> This battle was a thousand times fiercer than the last, but yet out of some whim of chance, I was beaten. I fled far away, and released my rage at the loss. My dreams of true victory were shattered before me…. But, I was not yet destroyed. I had my life, and I would use it to reach a level where none could beat me. I would create a song of such magnitude and intensity even the gods would be stunned by it. I went into solitude. A small tower I constructed for myself was where I lived for months. I ate and slept only when absolutely necessary. My body was emaciated, and I was weak and dizzy constantly, but still I worked on. Each incorrect measure was erased and replaced, I made a part of every instrument whose existence I knew, and choir as well. This song would be perfect, and one night... or day, my view of time was skewed by then, it was finished. I hummed the song quietly to myself as I looked over the score one last time, and began preparations for what would be the greatest concert ever to grace the Earth. I took my place on a great hill, overlooking Balosk, and knew from here the entire kingdom could enjoy my music. My ultimate composition. I had named it The Symphony of Perfection…
It was time to begin. I could not start my newest piece however, until Teyak and his cohorts arrived. Attracting them would not be hard at all, so I began the opening piece. The power of music once again flowed through me. As my body emmited the sound, I felt refreshed and renewed. Already it’s effects were taking place. I watched as people rushed from their houses screaming, overwhelmed by its beauty, and the earth began to split open in places, fire gushing from the ground. It would be a miraculous show indeed. It took a mere four hours of my playing various songs before Teyak and his fellows arrived. I finished my last opening piece as he stepped up before me. “Like it?” I asked, malice in my voice. “You took it quite well. It’s in the key of C minor, with cut time and at a tempo of 130 beats per minute. The first 5 bars are enough to make most mortals turn to ash”. Teyak simply glared and said, “we beat you once and we can do it again!”. “I’d like to see you try.” And with that, it was on. 1. 2. 1, 2 ready and- Pleasure unimaginable. Rapture and glory flowed through my system as every perfect pitch released itself. I don’t know exactly what happened from then, I was too consumed by the madness of the song. I could feel the very crust of the planet rise and swirl about. Thunder and lightning, gales of wind, raining fire, and yet through all the chaos not one bit could be heard, the insane fury of my music blocking it out. Such unimaginable power was to amazing to comprehend, and my piece grew and grew. Time passed, but the thrill remained. I was but minutes away from competition when- I truly do not know what happened. All I know is that the song suddenly ended, and I found myself somewhere else. <<This is of course, the third and final battle the characters of the game have with Alec. His title here is Alec- Symphonic Perfection. He is the final boss of the game (well technically not really, but you’ll have to wait until a CAG contest is created before I can go deeper into that.) As such, he is insanely powerful, and incredibly dangerous. It will take a very strong party with excellent equipment and accessories to beat this one. The ending is a description of his death. In the contest he is assumed to have already completed the Symphony of Perfection, but he’ll only use it if absolutely nessecary.>>
